Our products

What is your making process like? What ingredients do you use?
All of our ingredients and supplies are thoughtfully sourced from Australia and the United States, and responsibly produced in Singapore to create safe and sustainable products that does not contain any parabens or phthalates.

All of our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax, scented with premium-graded fragrance oils (IFRA-certified), paired with eco cotton wicks and a sturdy vessel to ensure you get a good burn.

How strong is your scent throw?
Different sized vessels emits different scent intensity. To ensure your space is well-scented, we suggest using each product in an appropriately-sized space. Our discovery tins are good for smaller bedrooms and toilets. Our big boy jars are good for the bedrooms too, and slightly bigger living spaces such as the dining room, kitchen or hallways.

Where can I purchase your products or smell your scents in person?

Do you offer samples?
Please check out our Discovery Kits. They are specially put together and come in 3 different kits for you to choose from, each carrying 3 of 9 of our official scents. We believe this is a great way for you to explore our scents before purchasing them in their big boy jars. Fun fact: our Discovery Kits were named after Richard Linklater’s ‘Before’ Trilogy.

How do I care for my product?
To prolong the lifespan of your candle, we’ve put together a Candle Care Guide for your use.

Can our vessels be repurposed?
Yes, they can and we highly recommend that. They can be easily washed out clean with warm water and soap, leave to dry completely before reusing them in your preferred ways. Our refill plan was created with the intention to help you repurpose your jar—by refilling and saving sensibly all at once. Find out more here.

Orders

Can I have my order delivered as a gift?
Definitely. Please ensure to include the respective delivery details with your order. We'd be more than happy to include a personal note with your gift, please email us at hello@athingofsense.com with your message, email and order number.

How can I cancel or change my order?
We will not be able to cancel orders that have been processed. However, we will try our best to accomodate with alternatives (on a case to case basis). Please email us at hello@athingofsense.com.

How are the candles packaged for delivery?
We strive to package our products as responsibly as possible whilst ensuring they are properly protected from damage during delivery. Our big boy jars are snuggly packed with Ranpak’s Geami WrapPak before going into their box.
